Good Morning Reader! It's September, and you know what that means . . . It's Antique Show Season! As we transition to fall, lots of flea markets and antique shows start popping up all over the country. Heading out to one of these events is my absolute most favorite way to spend a day. Who is with me? ๐โโ๏ธ I've compiled a list of some of the bigger fairs and events here for you: ๐ Brimfield Flea Market & Antique Show: September 8-13 This one is the biggie! Quality dealers from all over the country, with a wide range of offerings. See more here.โ ๐ Round Top: October 15-Nov 1 Another famous event, dealers from across America take over this tiny Texas town for 2 weeks every spring and fall. See more here.โ ๐ Springfield Antique Show: September 18-20 This Ohio show happens every month, but the September show is a special Extravaganza weekend. A great show for hunting down quality primitives. See more here.โ ๐ The Junk Ranch: Nov 20-21 This one happens close to me, and is a smaller show still worth the trip! Nestled in the adorable town of Prairie Grove, there are lots of other antique shops to visit while at the show as well. See more here, and check out this video I made on YouTube. ๐ The Found Cottage Mercantile: Sep 4-5 This one is happening this weekend! Founded by blogger Liz Marie Galvan, this show is highly curated and filled with your favorite Instagram-worthy decor finds. See more here.โ This is just a small list of the shows out there. I found a more exhaustive list shared by Homes and Gardens, you can see that here. And we can't forget my own event . . .Yes! My next in-person Found Collection Sale will be scheduled soon! My container was picked up yesterday and will soon be crossing the ocean ๐ข. As I get more firm dates on its delivery, I'll announce the dates for the sale. My target is late October or early November, pending no delays on the container delivery๐ค๐ป. Some Tips for Flea Market ShoppingIf you're new to the flea market or antique fair scene, it may feel a bit overwhelming. There are some things that can make for a more successful outing, as well as some things that can make you wish you stayed home ๐ฅฒ I've got some thoughts to share over on the blog, for how to win at the flea market and enjoy your day.
Amazing Antique Finds at Your FingertipsEach week, I've been releasing curated collections of items I brought back from England over in the online shop. After two releases of 31 new items, we only have 4 left ๐ฒ I've been amazed with the response, and as always so grateful for everyone who chooses to shop with me. If you've missed the last two collections, you can see our remaining items here - they are actually some of my favorites from the whole lot! โ>>> Click here to Shop the New Itemsโ Collection Three will be released this coming Monday, and will feature finds from across the Channel in France ๐ซ๐ท Thanks for joining me this week! The vendors at these events work so hard and I know appreciate every one who chooses to come out. Happy Picking! |

Happy Wednesday Reader, The more time I spend in England, the more I appreciate antique majolica. It's just so . . . extra. โบ๏ธ Colorful, ornate, and sometimes totally strange. Happy Wednesday Reader, Word has gotten out about this England container shipping thing I'm doing, and so lots of people have started asking me about my business. I can understand their curiosity . . . it's not quite the normal business you encounter every day. But one thing I often hear during these chats is something like, "that sounds really interesting, but antiques don't fit into our home style." I get it ๐ You say antiques and people start to imagine a room that looks like it's stranded...
