Happy Wednesday Reader, Word has gotten out about this England container shipping thing I'm doing, and so lots of people have started asking me about my business. I can understand their curiosity . . . it's not quite the normal business you encounter every day. But one thing I often hear during these chats is something like, "that sounds really interesting, but antiques don't fit into our home style." I get it 😉 You say antiques and people start to imagine a room that looks like it's stranded in the 1940s, covered in dust, and so filled with knick knacks that there's no room to set your TV remote down. So I'm on a new personal mission to fix that 😁 I really do believe antiques can fit into just about any home decor style, especially the few items I've compiled today over on the blog. I put together a list of 10 antique items that can add character, charm, and interest to just about any home, along with ideas for how to use them in your space. Here to make antiques accessible to everyone!
Collection Three Now AvailableSpeaking of antiques that can fit anywhere, I released collection three this week of the First Arrivals and some lovely items are still left, including all of the vintage French linen tea towels. They are perfect examples of another item that can be added to just about any space for a touch of character.
Container UpdateMy container from England was due to leave the UK last Saturday, but was unfortunately delayed because the cargo ship was over capacity. It's now set to leave this coming Saturday, but the new route has delayed the estimated arrival here by 2 weeks 😕 It's still a bit too early to set firm dates for the Found Collection Sale, but my tentative plan is sometime in November, before Thanksgiving. If you would like to stay updated on those dates and get first chance at VIP Night Tickets, please make sure you are members of The Collector's List Newsletter (it's different than this email you currently get). If you are not yet, you can sign up here by just quickly entering your email: >>> Click here to join The Collector's List Newsletter Appreciate everyone being here with me this week! I'll be back next week with more vintage-loving life inspiration! |

Happy Wednesday Reader, When we travel to England to source for The Found Collection, we do a lot of fair shopping. And the video also has a bit of footage from historic downtown Lincoln, including the Lincoln Cathedral and Castle, as well as...
Happy Wednesday Reader, The more time I spend in England, the more I appreciate antique majolica. It's just so . . . extra. ☺️ Colorful, ornate, and sometimes totally strange. It's the perfect Victorian era decor, with all it's quirks and over-the-top-ness. I'm sharing my burgeoning love of majolica with you all today over on the blog, and offering a quick intro into the history of this kind of pottery. If you're curious what makes these pieces so unique, you can click below to head over and...
