Reader, Who doesn't love a good trip to the thrift store? Whether you're on the hunt for budget-friendly decor for your own home or you're a reseller, an afternoon thrift shopping is a delight for many of us. Over the years though, I've learned there are some things to avoid when you're out thrifting. It can be tempting to just grab it all, but some items are best left sitting on the shelves. We tackle these thrift store red flags today over on the blog, in a brand new post.
The Found Collection ShowroomI've had LOTS of questions online about what's happening with The Found Collection, so here's my quick update. While I loved the space I used for the May sale in Downtown Springdale, it unfortunately wasn't going to be financially viable to continue on with that lease. But as one door closes, another one opens, right? I was approached by an acquaintance about an opportunity to build out my own showroom space inside a new local storage facility, and it turned out to be the perfect next step. I know it sounds kinda fishy to have a space inside a storage place, but this is gonna feel different. Currently, they are taking down interior walls in between units, putting up sheetrock and paint, and installing lighting. So it's gonna feel like a higher end room. The best part is that this facility has a fantastic lobby where I can host my VIP night event, and also a loading dock that can receive my container (yes, I said container!) shipment. I really think it's a fantastic fit. I just booked flights to return to England in early August, which has our new items arriving mid-October. It's a little later than I wanted to go, but it's when it works for our family. So stay tuned, so many exciting things coming this fall. Hey Reader, I just got back from seven days on an Alaska cruise and honestly I’m still not fully back to reality 😅 My mother-in-law gifted her three kids and grandkids this amazing trip, and what an experience it was. It was one of those trips that kind of stops you in your tracks. Whales poking their tales out of the ocean. Mountains sitting there being completely unbothered by everything. Bald eagles perched on light poles, just hanging out for everyone to see. I didn’t source a single...

Reader, Starting in 2023, things began feeling different in my business. And as I talked to my booth owner and reselling friends, I wasn't the only one feeling that way. The truth is, since 2020, a LOT has changed in the reselling world - whether you are a booth owner, show seller, or are only online. And in the last 3 years, the pace of changes has sped up. But I don't want you to be discouraged! With change also comes opportunity, and I believe smart sellers can adapt to what we're seeing...
