I just got back and I’ve been thinking . . .

Hey Reader,

I just got back from seven days on an Alaska cruise and honestly I’m still not fully back to reality 😅

My mother-in-law gifted her three kids and grandkids this amazing trip, and what an experience it was.

It was one of those trips that kind of stops you in your tracks. Whales poking their tales out of the ocean. Mountains sitting there being completely unbothered by everything. Bald eagles perched on light poles, just hanging out for everyone to see.

I didn’t source a single thing while I was gone. Didn’t think about listings or price tags or what’s trending. I just hung with my family, ate a lot of food and tried to remember what it felt like to not be busy.

Alaska has a way of making you think about time differently.

Glaciers that are thousands of years old. Landscapes that look exactly the same as they did centuries ago. Things that have just lasted . . . through all kinds of weather and change and chaos.

It's all still here, still beautiful, still worth stopping for.

And that’s kind of why we do what we do, isn’t it?

We’re drawn to old things because age means something.

It means history. It means something was made well enough or loved enough to survive.

And we’re the people who recognize that. The ones who pick it up off a shelf and think this matters when everyone else walks right past it.

That’s true whether you’re a booth owner, an online reseller, or just someone who loves filling their home with pieces that have a story.

We all speak the same language here.

I came home to a full inbox and a to-do list that absolutely did not take a vacation while I did 😂

But I also came back feeling really grateful for this little corner of the world we all share.

If you’ve been feeling burned out lately, like the fun has gotten buried somewhere under all the work of it, I want to say that’s real. It happens to me too.

Sometimes you just need a few days away from it to remember why you started in the first place.

So I’m back, I’m recharged, and I’ve got good stuff coming your way.

And for those of you itching for a photo, here's one I managed to grab of my whole fam (there were 16 total on this trip, this is just my immediate crew).

Found Collection Restocks Resuming Monday

I have a few more treasures to bring to the online shop. New items will be live at noon central, this coming Monday at TheFoundCollection.com. Shipping will resume as usual.

There is still available now a gorgeous pair of barley twist candlesticks, a charming antique framed sampler, and several antique books for your library.

Reader, Starting in 2023, things began feeling different in my business. And as I talked to my booth owner and reselling friends, I wasn't the only one feeling that way. The truth is, since 2020, a LOT has changed in the reselling world - whether you are a booth owner, show seller, or are only online. And in the last 3 years, the pace of changes has sped up. But I don't want you to be discouraged! With change also comes opportunity, and I believe smart sellers can adapt to what we're seeing...
