Fall, but make it flea market πŸ‚

Hey Reader,

Fall is the season when your home practically asks to feel a little cozier.

But instead of rushing out to the ever-expanding Hobby Lobby fall aisle, why not let your vintage and flea market treasures do the heavy lifting?

Over on the blog today, I’m sharing easy ways to:

  • Layer in fall textures with pieces you may already have
  • Mix warm vintage finds for instant character
  • Add simple touches that make your home feel welcoming

I've rounded up some gorgeous vintage fall display ideas from a few of my fellow bloggers, and I promise it's not all burnt orange and pumpkins!

Meanwhile in the online shop:

I just added a bunch of new "littles" to the shop, along with a few pieces of artwork.

Just a reminder, every order in the shop ships for $5.99, no matter how much you have in your box.

Last week, 15 people added the same butter knife to their cart but didn't check out - I'm guessing because the shipping on the knife was about the same cost as the knife itself πŸ˜…

But a great way to take advantage of my flat rate shipping is to bundle several little things together into one order, then that $5.99 becomes an even better deal. Just a thought πŸ˜‰

As always, I appreciate the chance to be in your inbox this week!

Wow, what a week it's been! The weather turned cool, my kids' sports started, and I got an invitation to a Christmas party. Yes, you read that right . . . a Christmas Party. Please tell me it's not already time for that! 😭 😳 πŸ˜‚ While my head is still spinning from that, I also finished adding a bunch of new things to the online shop. I promised to email you when they were ready, so here I am πŸ€— I've decided to dabble a bit more in the world of collectibles . . . I usually stick to just home...

We have a little old dog who will be 14 in about 2 months. For the past two days in a row, he has somehow managed to take a swim in our pool. I haven't actually seen it happen either time . . .he just shows up soaking wet at the back door with a trail of water behind him, leading straight to the pool steps. He's a great little dog, but he's never been a swimmer. So the first time it happened, I assumed he fell in. He likes to wander around the edge and sniff in the mulch. But the second time...

Hey Reader, It's taken me a hot minute, but I finally published my last video from my antique shopping trip London πŸ€— This video features a car boot sale (English for "group garage sale") and the Jubilee Market in Covent Garden. Now that I am finally done sharing footage from that trip, I can get back to some good old stateside thrift hauls--hopefully one coming here in another week or so. Watch it HERE on YouTube And for my shopping friends, I have a small new collection in the online store,...
