Hey Reader, I know we're still a few days shy of October, and you may not be ready to think about Christmas yet . . . but I hope you won't mind if I go ahead and open that door a little! You know the retail world is always a few months ahead, so Christmas has been on my brain for a while now. A few weeks ago I found a few Department 56 Christmas village houses. I've always been a sucker for anything in miniature, so I grabbed these little houses faster than you can say deck the halls. I spent some time learning about their history, and am sharing what I learned over on the blog.
